Crafting hoops using the gold ropes from the “Brilliance of the Sun” generation posed a challenge for Wellendorff’s goldsmiths. But by putting their skills and expert craftsmanship to use, they found a way to incorporate this special goldsmithing technique: small, bevelled surfaces reflect the light so the earrings sparkle like rays of sunshine.
