THE FLEXIBLE WELLENDORFF ROPE.
How can gold be transformed into a material that is silky-soft, stable and flexible all at the same time? The Wellendorff goldsmiths took on this challenge and have made the “classic” rope design flexible for the first time where four gold strands are woven together. The wire of each individual strand is even finer than before and hides a secret soul that gives the gold its stable and flexible properties.
PURE CRAFTSMANSHIP.
Since the resulting strands are much shorter once made into ropes, the goldsmiths have to start with a length so long that it then becomes impossible to do alone. This work requires the help of two other goldsmiths. The extra effort is certainly worth it, as the silky matte Wellendorff rope makes for an incomparable contrast with the sparkling diamond strand.

THE MAGICAL CUBES.
Another challenge for the goldsmiths was to give the precious diamond rivière the same flexible qualities as the bracelet. The solution: 67 tiny cubes made from 18-karat gold. Thanks to the slightly tapered shape of the cubes, the EMBRACE ME Genuine Love bracelet fits around the wrist like a gentle embrace.
