The Wellendorff cold enamel in pink, mint green and light blue is applied by hand to the individual surfaces in several layers. Different engraving depths make them appear at times subtly transparent, or intensely radiant.

A specially developed diamond tool is used to engrave decorations into the highly polished base layers, capturing and directing incident light and allowing the colours to glow from within. Each surface bears a finely engraved sun: a hidden glow concealed beneath the cold enamel.

Embedded under a layer of translucent Wellendorff cold enamel, a sparkling diamond floats in the middle of a gold field, creating a truly astonishing effect.

The finest crystal particles are set into the Wellendorff cold enamel and sparkle with every movement. An effect that can only be achieved by the steady hand of Wellendorff’s experienced artists.
