Every morning, she would take the same route through Goethestraße in Frankfurt and see the iconic Diamond-W in the shop window. More than just a letter, it represented a quiet promise that accompanied Wiebke Freiling for years. She later fulfils her dream herself: the FIRE'S SHEEN ring. It is a moment of accomplishment and at the same time the start of a small collection that celebrates family, goals and memories. When her daughter passes her Bachelor's degree, the TRUFFLE ring is given as a symbol of encouragement: "You can do anything."

How many times did I walk past the Wellendorff boutique on the Goethestrasse in Frankfurt while on my way to school? Every time I saw the shimmering “W” in the shop window, I felt a small rush of excitement. The “W” wasn't simply a “W.” It was the first letter of my first name and a symbol that somehow gave me hope. And that made me dream of having my own piece of jewellery. I also remember the Wellendorff adverts in the newspaper. They were more than just advertising. They were a promise of elegance and style, and I imagined what it would be like to wear jewellery like that one day. The Wellendorff rings became a kind of lighthouse in the distance, a destination I wanted to reach. At some point, when the time was right, I would earn money, and I would make my dream come true. And then this moment came. I bought the FIRE'S SHEEN ring. When I saw it on my finger for the first time, it was an unforgettable moment. The ring not only radiated beauty, but also symbolised the memories I had collected along the way. The FIRE'S SHEEN became a symbol of self-love and proof that I can make my dreams come true. Over time, my collection has grown. Each new ring tells its own story, holds experiences and feelings – each one a little treasure chest of life. I am very proud of the ring we gave my daughter for her bachelor's degree, the TRUFFLE. It should not only be a reward, but also a constant reminder that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. This little TRUFFLE will always accompany her on her journey, and thanks to this ring, we are happy to be a part of it. I'm already wondering which special piece of jewellery we'll choose to celebrate her master's degree in 2026. Whatever it will be, it will be another special Wellendorff moment, a moment in which jewellery expresses something wonderful: the closeness and the bond that we share as a family. That's why Wellendorff is more than just a name or a brand to me. It plays an important part in my stories, my dreams, and the love I feel for my family. And so, I continue to follow my path, relaxed and hopeful, knowing that the best memories and the most beautiful rings are yet to come.
